The game is played from a cockpit perspective as you steer an F-14, track hostile aircraft, and fire guns or missiles to destroy targets. Core play revolves around turning, climbing, diving, and managing speed to stay on an enemy’s tail while avoiding incoming attacks. Missions are time-limited and often feature multiple enemies or larger objectives, requiring constant target priority and repositioning. The arcade cabinet’s motion adds to the sense of banking and G-force during maneuvers.

Keep moving and avoid staying behind a single target for too long, since other enemies can quickly attack from blind spots. Use wide turns followed by climbs or dives to reset positioning, then fire in short bursts for better accuracy. When several enemies are present, prioritize the ones closest to you or actively attacking first. If the controls feel sensitive, make smaller corrections to preserve your aim instead of oversteering.
