Final Fight 3

The game uses a side-scrolling perspective where players pick one of several fighters and advance through stages filled with waves of enemies. In addition to standard attacks, jumps, and throws, characters can use improved combos, rush attacks, and more varied grapple options. Some stages branch into alternate routes, changing the scenery, enemy sets, and pace of progression. Each stage ends with a boss fight, and completion progresses the story and ending sequence.

Learn to use throws and knockdowns to control groups instead of relying only on basic punches. Against weapon users, close the distance with jump attacks or quick rushes to avoid being worn down. Branching routes can offer easier enemy layouts or better item placement, so try alternate paths on repeat runs. In boss fights, watch for openings, use short combos, and avoid overcommitting after a hit.

Tips and tricks

• If enemies start surrounding you, push them toward the edge of the screen to reduce pressure.
• Some characters have especially strong jump attacks, making them ideal for opening fights safely.
