Blaster Master

The game switches between two core play styles. In SOPHIA, it plays like a side-scrolling action shooter with jumping, hovering, and a main cannon plus limited special weapons. When Jason exits the vehicle, the view changes to top-down exploration, where he navigates mazes, opens routes, and fights with a gun and grenades. Progress relies on finding weapon upgrades, health, and key items, with some areas requiring specific vehicle or on-foot abilities to advance.

Jason

The main character who pilots SOPHIA and explores areas on foot when needed.

Fred

Jason’s pet frog, transformed by a mysterious event and the object of the rescue mission.

SOPHIA THE 3RD

Jason’s armored combat vehicle and the main source of firepower in underground battles.

Boss Plutonium

The alien leader and final boss of the game.

Upgrade SOPHIA’s mobility and firepower early, and save special weapon ammo for dangerous enemies or crowded rooms. During Jason sections, avoid enemy contact whenever possible, since collisions reduce weapon power. Learn map layouts carefully so you can backtrack efficiently, and use doorways and narrow passages to control enemy movement.
