Beauty and the Beast

The game uses a side-scrolling perspective across six main stages. Belle focuses on movement, jumping, and careful navigation, while the Beast has stronger melee attacks and can push through enemies more easily. Progress is largely linear, with character switching used to vary pacing and challenge. Certain story moments temporarily transform the Beast into a human form before returning him to normal.

Learn each character's strengths before rushing forward. Belle sections are safest when you focus on timing jumps and avoiding enemy contact, while Beast sections reward aggressive play and quick enemy clearing. On narrow platforms, take your time and watch patrol patterns before committing to a jump. If a stage gives you room to switch pace, conserve health and avoid unnecessary trades.
