Control the fighter from a behind-the-aircraft view, roll and dodge incoming fire, lock on to enemy planes, launch missiles or use the Vulcan cannon, and push the afterburner to escape or close distance. Continue points return the player to later stages after a defeat.

Strategy
Use the targeting cursor to lock a formation before firing, roll at the last moment against tracking missiles, and use the afterburner to break a rear attack. Keep the fighter near a useful line of sight so a wide formation does not fall outside the missile lock.
