Advanced Variable Geo

The game uses a side-view 2D fighting system. Players choose one character and battle through a sequence of one-on-one matches in single-player mode. Movement includes walking, jumping, crouching, blocking, basic strikes, and special attacks, with each fighter having different range, speed, and damage traits. Successful play depends on spacing, punishes, and learning when to commit to a special move or safe pressure sequence.

Learn your character’s attack ranges first, then build simple confirm strings around safe pokes and punish windows. Against defensive opponents, mixing jump-in pressure with low attacks helps open them up. If your fighter has fast special moves, use them to check movement from a safer distance. In single-player runs, save your strongest damage option for key moments to reduce the risk of losing a round.
