Wild Arms

The game alternates between an overworld, towns, dungeons, and turn-based battles. Each protagonist has unique tools and field abilities used to solve puzzles, activate mechanisms, and access new paths. Combat uses a traditional command-based system with attacks, magic, items, and character-specific skills. Progress is driven by story events, key item acquisition, and dungeon navigation, with many areas built around switches, pushable objects, and environmental interaction.

Keep the party's healing resources stocked before entering long dungeons. Make good use of each character's field tools, since many progression walls are puzzle-based rather than level-based. In battle, focus on enemies that inflict status effects first, then exploit weaknesses with spells or skills. Boss fights are easier if you enter with full HP/MP and a clear plan for defense and recovery.
