Wario's Woods

The game uses a single-screen vertical playfield. You control Toad, who can run, jump, grab, and throw monsters, bombs, and blocks. The objective is to arrange matching monsters so they clear, or use bombs to wipe out large sections at once. Wario constantly drops new hazards and disrupts your setup, so you must manage space, predict falling pieces, and build efficient chains. As stages advance, the speed and complexity rise, demanding quicker reactions and tighter planning.

Keep the lower lanes open so you always have room to catch and reposition pieces. Group identical monsters early, but save bombs for emergencies or large clears rather than small gains. Watch Wario's timing and prepare landing spots before pieces arrive. If the screen gets crowded, clear one side first and stabilize the field before chasing combos.
