2 Games in 1: Sonic Advance + Sonic Battle

The cartridge lets players launch each full game separately. Sonic Advance is a side-scrolling platformer where you jump, dash, spring through stages, collect rings, and race to the goal before the timer runs out. Sonic Battle shifts to a task-driven action and fighting format with a more top-down/isometric presentation, featuring melee attacks, projectiles, special moves, and character progression. Multiplayer versus play is available in certain modes.

During fights, watch for recovery windows, use spacing well, and take advantage of terrain and items to seize initiative.
