The Incredible Hulk

The game uses a side-scrolling perspective. Hulk moves through linear stages, defeats soldiers, monsters, and mechanical enemies, avoids hazards, and reaches an end-of-stage confrontation. Objects in the environment can be used as weapons, making positioning important when several enemies surround him. Hulk has a limited life and energy supply, so reckless contact with enemies and hazards quickly reduces his margin for error. Progress is organized around completing stages rather than exploring a large map; a password system provides continuation after selected points in the adventure.

Use the stage scenery instead of relying only on close-range punches. Pick up and throw objects when enemies approach in groups, and keep enough room to jump over hazards or reposition. Learn the timing of each enemy encounter before committing to an attack. Preserve health for the later sections and record passwords as soon as they appear, since the game becomes less forgiving as stages introduce denser enemy placements and tougher confrontations.
