The game is a side-scrolling platform adventure viewed from the side. Dr. Jekyll walks through urban stages and must reach the end while avoiding enemies, hazards, and attacks that raise his stress or damage his health. When Jekyll's stress reaches its limit, the game changes to Mr. Hyde's version of the same route. Hyde moves through a corresponding stage while defeating enemies and advancing the background. Progress resumes with Jekyll when Hyde reaches the matching point, so careless play can cause repeated reversals and make advancement difficult.

Characters
Dr. Henry Jekyll
The main character, who travels through city streets and tries to control the disturbances that trigger his transformation.
Mr. Edward Hyde
Jekyll's violent alter ego, controlled during the parallel sections that appear when Jekyll's stress becomes too high.
Strategy
Move cautiously and avoid unnecessary contact with enemies, projectiles, and environmental hazards. Jekyll's condition is central to progression, so rushing into crowds usually creates another Hyde section rather than meaningful progress. Learn the timing of each enemy and use jumps to pass threats instead of trying to absorb damage. The game offers limited margin for error; patient movement and memorizing dangerous screen layouts are more useful than aggressive play.

Tips
Avoid enemy contact whenever possible; damage and disturbances can force a switch to Hyde.
Use short, deliberate movements and learn the position of hazards before advancing.
Expect repeated sections when Hyde does not keep pace with Jekyll's route.
