Cocoron

The game uses a side-view perspective. The player moves through linear platforming stages, jumps across hazards, defeats enemies with the selected weapon, and confronts a stage boss. At the start, character parts and weapons let the player create a hero suited to a preferred approach. Stages can generally be tackled in different orders, and completing them expands the route toward the final encounter. Health, positioning, and weapon range are more important than rapid button pressing.

Choose a weapon whose range matches the stage rather than selecting parts only for appearance. Learn enemy placements and use short, controlled jumps near pits. Explore each stage carefully for useful items, but avoid trading health for unnecessary risks. Against bosses, stay near a safe edge, watch the attack pattern, and strike during recovery windows.

Use deliberate jumps and attack from a distance when the selected weapon allows it.

Memorize boss patterns instead of rushing repeated attacks.
