Take out armed soldiers first, since their gunfire creates the most immediate pressure, then clean up slower infected enemies. Reload during brief pauses or scene transitions instead of in the middle of heavy attacks. When branching paths appear, replay and learn which routes offer safer enemy patterns. Avoid shooting hostages or friendlies, as mistakes can make later sections harder and more chaotic.
